The Food Writing School creates original articles, lessons, downloads, worksheets, guides, graphics, photographs, and other educational materials for food writers.
This policy explains what you may and may not do with that content.
Linking to The Food Writing School
You are welcome to link to articles, pages, and resources on The Food Writing School.
You do not need permission to share a link to an FWS article on your website, newsletter, social media account, or other publication.
Please link to the original FWS page whenever possible.

- Include a link to the original article online.
- Do not reproduce a substantial portion of the article.
If you would like to use more than a brief quotation, please request permission first.
Republishing Articles
You may not republish complete Food Writing School articles, or substantial portions of them, on another website, blog, newsletter, publication, course, platform, or social media account without written permission.

Images obtained from third-party sources remain subject to the rights and licenses of their original owners.
Please do not assume that an image appearing on The Food Writing School is available for reuse simply because it appears online.
Downloadable Resources
The Food Writing School may provide worksheets, workbooks, checklists, glossaries, templates, guides, and other downloadable resources.
Unless a resource specifically says otherwise, these materials are intended for the individual recipient’s personal or business use.
You may print or save a copy for your own use.

- Upload it to another website or file-sharing service.
- Email or distribute copies to a group.
- Include it in a paid product, course, membership, or client package.

In many cases, permission may be available at no charge for limited educational use, but approval should be obtained in advance.
Whenever possible, participants should be directed to the original Food Writing School page rather than receiving copied material.
